Irene Leech is a General Sonography Educator and Clinical Coordinator at the Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences. She began her career in medical imaging after graduating from City College of San Francisco in 1995. For twenty years, Irene served at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center, specializing in general and vascular sonography while also mentoring and training sonography interns as a clinical instructor.

Her commitment to advancing the field and supporting future sonographers led her to transition into education, where she now shares her expertise and experience in the academic setting. Teaching sonography is Irene’s passion, and she is dedicated to preparing the next generation of diagnostic medical sonographers for successful, fulfilling careers.
